The Wong family opened their first Welcome Restaurant in Northern Ireland in 1973. The Stranmillis restaurant was opened in 1982 by the then Lord Mayor Tom Patton. It is the oldest family run Chinese Restaurant in the country.
Our restaurants have won a range of awards throughout the years, dating from 'Best Belfast Restaurant' (1983/84/85) to more recent accolades, including Master Chef and Egon Ronay awards.
